Cabanas In Las Vegas
Ahhhhhh Vegas! The mere mention of the city of Las Vegas brings joy to my heart. I can honestly say that I have visited many wonderful cities over my short life span but none can match the excitement and sheer naughtiness that is Vegas! Its funny that when Vegas is mentioned in conversation how peoples eyes light up. They conjure up memories of past visits and talk about how much they love the city. Of course there always seems to be that one person in the conversation who has never been to Vegas. The immediate reaction to this person is "What? You have never been to Vegas? You have to go!" I have been to Vegas many times and each visit I seem to fall in love with the city more and more. I dont know if its the gambling, the casinos, the lights, or the fact that you can get a cocktail at 6 a.m. in the morning and no one blinks an eye. I mean come on, there is a reason why they say "what happens in vegas stays in vegas". Its the worlds playground.

Renting A Cabana In Las Vegas
Ok so I got off subject a litlle bit there. Sorry, talking about Las Vegas does that to me. What I want to share with all of you is the wonderful luxury that is Las Vegas cabanas. If you have never rented a cabana before in Las Vegas then the next time you visit you should definately splurge on one. Contrary to the belief that cabanas are only for the very rich, I am here to guide you on how to secure your own private tent in the desert at a resonable price.
Las Vegas cabanas offer so much but they are often overlooked in a travelers mind. Most think that they simply cannot afford it or they say to themselves " why would I pay for a tent?". I use to think the same way until I became a little older. If your wanting to spend any time at the hotel pool and your visiting in the summer months believe me you will want that tent! Temps reach the 110 degree level and you wont last very long in the desert sun. The other factor is that Las Vegas pools are somewhat the crown jewel of the major resorts. They are themed and beautiful and therefore people want to hang out. The problem is that so many people go to the pool that there are never enough chairs or places to sit. This is why I value the personal space that a cabana offers. Cabanas are your own personal sanctuary. No one is allowed to sit or visit inside without permission. You get your own personal waitress or waiter. Most come with a flat screen tv and mini fridge stocked with soft drinks and water. Almost all have ceiling fans and the ability to pull the flaps down for privacy.

How Much Do Las Vegas Cabanas Cost?
The cost for a cabana in Vegas varies. Weekdays are generally priced the cheapest. This is Sunday thru Thursday. The level of hotel also plays a factor. The Wynn or Caesars is gonna be much more expensive than say Excalibur or the Luxor. I paid 150 dollars at Excalibur last August and this was on a Saturday. You have to keep in mind that demand plays a major role also. If there is a major event going on like a fight or convention the prices will rise. Pricing at MGM or the Wynn can easily reach up to 500 dollars per day on a weekend. Keep in mind that if your traveling with friends, you all can split the cost! Most cabanas allow up to 6 or more. So split that up and you each are paying less than 100 dollars for the day. In my opinion well worth the cost.
Follow these tips.
- Call around and get pricing. Most hotels allow you to book 7 days in advance.
- MGM, Mandalay Bay, Caesars, Venetian, Bellagio and the Wynn are all gonna be on the higher end.
- Call the concierge the night before to verify your reservation. You never know if you got bumped out to make room for a celebrity. It happens.
- Sunday thru Thursday are the cheapest.
- Tip your hostess before and after. This is the person waiting on you all day! If you set the tone early then you can expect to receive great service all day.
- Dont invite 20 girls or guys to hang out in your cabana. The hostess will not like this and you can expect the manager to come by and ask you to remove them.
- You can bring your own liquor or beer. Please be discreet. It is frowned upon by the hotel and waitress. This is why I tip early so there are no hard feelings.
- Make sure you have a players club card at the hotel your staying at, you might get comped!
- Water and Juice is included in the rental. If you want mixers then you will have to provide those on your own.
So thats it. Follow those simple tips and you will enjoy your time in sin city. Here is another tip. If your planning on visiting Vegas soon then I would suggest you get on their mailing list. I get great offers all the time. You just might save enough to pay for that cabana!

I've been to Vegas three times so far and I'm not NEARLY tired of the sights, sounds, and sensations that only Vegas can bring. I love to gamble and like the night life (I like to boogie, lol, couldn't help it). I've stayed at the Rio and Wyndham Resorts so far but have yet to rent a cabana. I just might thanks to you.
Excellent advice since we go every year and we will be there Sept 3 for several days!
We always tip one of the bag handlers each year, do not know what they are titled professionally. Yet this year we requested if he could get us into one and tipped an extra $40 on top of the usual...first time we got one, thank you!
